AIN is an artist based in Hamburg. She creates complex collages by using vintage magazines, mixed media and typographic elements. Her work combines philosophy and literature with modern lyricism. The known and superficiality are questioned, perverted, philosophically interrogated and deconstructed. The mix of traditional and experimental techniques generate random-looking structures. The bizarre and nihilistic aesthetics evoke reflection and an ambivalence of being. Playing with the contrasts of mysticism, street art and polarizing aesthetics, the artist creates areas of tension, which lead to an change of perspective.
